I have met Cameron many times, and Nick Freitas’s announcement video was made in my living room. In fact, my son ran his campaign, and through some miracles, after a week of counting votes, a thumb drive containing 12,000 Spanberger votes showed up and cost him the election. Virginia is just as dirty as Pennsylvania and New Jersey when it comes to cheating on elections. That is why I am mystified that Cameron did not come out sooner with this information about Derrick Anderson. I have known about this for months, but the candidate was being too nice. There is no honor in politics, and Cameron’s failure to bring these issues out has given Anderson an opportunity to win the primary. I am not arguing to wallow in the mud with the pigs, but those hogs will respect facts and a firm hand. I have spoken to Anderson several times when he was shilling at the Culpeper County GOP meetings. I have never been impressed with him. All he could say was vote for me because I have served in the military. Well, big deal, I served in the US Marine Corps for 27 years, and that is not a reason to vote for me. He never addressed the issues; he just kept going back to his military service. A classic case of a military veteran running for office is Nick Freitas. I challenge anyone in this country to find a better, well-rounded patriot who is right about the issues we care about. Nick is the best and, someday, should be governor of Virginia. Cameron Hamilton is Nick’s close friend and is a clone of Freitas, as one will ever see. He is a great patriot with a wonderful family and a great understanding of the issues that we conservatives care about. On top of this, he is a veteran. My issue is he is running against a flawed Rino Republican (what else would you call him since he works for Hillary Clinton’s law firm) who he should have neutered months ago, and he did not. When you are in a fight, you do not allow the other guy to hit first; no, you kick him in the groin and then punch him into submission, ending the threat. I am happy he has come now, and maybe he can secure Trump’s endorsement and win the primary. I am looking forward with great anticipation to seeing him eviscerate Vindman. Virginia is now competitive for Trump, and the tide is turning against the Progressive/Democrats. Hamilton has a great opportunity ahead of him.

I expect most votes will come in on the Primary day. Cameron has been hitting Anderson hard on the issues in his mailings.

IMO the only reason Cameron is making this stuff public is the fact that Anderson recently started this slimyBS about his mother.

Derrick Anderson has other bad baggage the Dems will attack him on.

Derrick is cynically using as his campaign slogan “From Combat to Congress” yet he was accused of being responsible for losing men under his command due to his error.

In his first run for congress Derrick openly talked about the accusations against him and to his credit disputed them. That said, his making his “combat” experience a campaign slogan in this go around will open the door for the Dems to point out that his record in combat is controversial.

Derrick Anderson works for a Law firm with LONG ties to the Democratic Party (and worked for Hillary Clinton in her email scandal). Why hasn’t Derrick left this firm? How can he stay associated with this firm and run for Congress as a Republican?

Lastly I will note that Derrick Anderson has refused to answer the Virginia Citizens Defense League gun rights survey while most of his serious opponents have answered. ( link: https://cdn.ymaws.com/vcdl.org/resource/resmgr/pdf/SG-2024-Federal-Primary.pdf ) What is he hiding?

I’m supporting Cameron Hamilton because he is in this race to do good. Derrick Anderson seems to be in for his own personal aggrandizement. I came to this conclusion based on my discussions with him and personal observations at Republican events.

A couple months ago when I spoke with Derrick Anderson at an Orange Republican Committee meeting I asked if he would join the freedom caucus. Anderson responded “I’m too busy trying to get elected to think what I’ll do when I get to Congress” - this says it all.
