A recent development in the legal proceedings involving former President Donald Trump has raised concerns over potential irregularities in the jury deliberations. New York Judge Juan Merchan recently issued a notice to both the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and Trump’s legal team regarding a post on the Facebook page of the New York court system.

Benny Johnson @bennyjohnson 🚨 BREAKING: Judge Merchan sends letter to parties in NY Trump case notifying them that this comment was left on their Facebook page before the verdict:
“My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted & Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!.”

The post, attributed to a user named “Michael Anderson,” claimed to be from the cousin of a juror who allegedly had insider knowledge of Trump’s conviction on 34 felony charges. The comment, posted concurrently with the verdict announcement, expressed gratitude to the individuals involved in the case for their efforts.

🚨 WHY DID JUDGE MERCHAN LEAVE OUT THE PART ABOUT “MAGA CRAZIES”?
There’s just something very sketchy about this public release of information from Judge Merchan in New York City. Merchan doesn’t have an integrity bone and the comment he is bringing attention toward is innocuous and random. However, Merchan could be trying to get Trump to violate the gag order aspect and talk about jurors; thereby making the sentencing worse.
According to information Merchan is providing the lawyers in the Trump case, a comment was made on the court’s FaceBook page indicating one of the jurors said the Trump guilty verdict was predetermined. [SOURCE]
“My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted. Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!”
Why would Judge Merchan want to draw public attention to this?
Either something bigger is being diluted by this story, or perhaps Merchan is using it as a provocation to get Trump to talk about the jury and violate his gag order ahead of sentencing.
Or, perhaps Merchan is looking to create a mistrial to exit the case, or do it over again and extend the gag order. Also, why not include the entire quote from the Facebook Page:
Not sure what’s going on, but something. Something….
.
.
Suspicious Cat remains, well, suspicious.
Second, The NY Supreme Court would not have bothered contacting Merchan without having first verified the relationship of the poster and the juror, AND verifying there was contact between the two before the post.
The verdict will be tossed and I don't see Merchan getting another bite at the apple in time to get a conviction before the election.
How can you seat a jury that can pretend they haven't been tainted by pre-trial publicity?
That’s plausible, but OTOH, a NYorker who proudly put that bastard Trump behind bars would be treated as royalty. Pride before the fall.
Also plausible.
My guess .... from three hours ago ...

Is this a way for Merchan to keep from being overturned, and provide cover for his subpar and partisan performance?
Another unlikely scenario, but;
Trump’s ratings rise with every lawsuit, booking, conviction, and might skyrocket with a sentencing.
Is this a way to avoid another boost for DjT ?
...more
...they know it will eventually be tossed. Save the embarrassment, too.
“on Trumps criminal case” was left out in the judge letter.
(vs any juror)
Cover up.
and the left can continue to say he is a felon who got off on a technicality and that “needs to be fixed for future cases”
Anyone want to bet on this?
“The judge is obligated to report the info.
That doesn’t mean it’s not a troll.”
I don’t know. It was posted a week ago. My gut feeling is that between then and now they likely *did* investigate it a bit and found there’s a possibility of something there. Like suppose, for example, one of the jurors also has the “Anderson” surname. Would that not be too coincidental to ignore?
Eh, he didnt need this in order to look impartial, there are maybe 100+ arguments to be made to overturn this disgusting verdict
I agree, after all, its the internet and well, people lie online..my aunt works for the Trump campaign I know who his VP pick is gonna be..see that simple(I wish I knew someone on the campaign by the way!) so they had to obviously vet this before getting this letter out there..no way would they want to look like complete morons by being punked by some jackass online, considering people post stupid sh*t all the time online everything is with a grain of salt, so something larger is going on here, not sure what but something is going on
At this point, I’m guessing Merchan would prefer a mistrial.
And here's the guy that says that if all weather's clear
Can do, can do, this guy says the horse can do
If he says the horse can do, can do, can do
And so on.... I
Well, well, well. How convenient. I suspect that they’ve come to realize that their little shit show had the opposite effect that was desired and that Trump might actually get elected, in which case the Trump DOJ may want to perform an annual exam in all those involved.
“Hey, we only kidding. No hard feelings, right ??”
I agree! They do NOT want to look like Peter Jennings when he got punked by Captain Jinx during the OJ chase. “And a bababooey to you too!”
This just SMELLS like a convenient way to get the case thrown out. What happens past that I can tell you, but it DOES keep the judge from being sanctioned for his shenanigans.
I think it was a set up to extend the trial AND gag order and keep Trump off the campaign trail. I think MoreScam
set the whole thing up with this in mind.
