American Indians are US citizens. Why should those living on a reservation have fewer rights than those who don’t live on a reservation?

I thought this meant they were separate countries. But in reality it is some sort of limbo definition where the Indians get to act as a separate nation when it helps them, and then act as US citizens when that is beneficial to them.

Typical FedGov double-speak.
