“...that and he needs to learn how to zip it once in a while.”
That’s where you lost me. Holding their tongue and taking the “high” road is why there are so many squishy republicans. You can’t play nice with liberals. Each one needs to be more like MTG and Trump. Call them out and don’t stop.

I fear he turns off undecideds
and independents voters with his rhetoric.

I love Trump but sometimes the man can be his own worst enemy.

Dude, nobody’s arguing that our side should go back to yesteryear when the establishment raised the white flag & took it up the back door. Trying to say that the other extreme- constant noise & bluster- is exhausting & makes people & makes too many voters tune out. I’m happy to see conservatives fight back- ever watch Charlie Kirk interact with leftist students on college campus? He prepares & owns them & stays likeable while doing it. The only people MTG, Lauren Boebert, et al. impress with all of their explosive rhetoric are people that are already voting for our side. The people whose votes we need now are the uncommitted Independents & centrists, conservatives with cold feet & people who generally dont vote Th red idea that so many of our side thinks that you approach all voters the way you approach us is probably one of the main factors handicapping us. It’s sad to see the stubbornness that’s taken hold amongst us because it’s a sign that many in our voting Bloc aren’t politically savvy enough to know how to win the election. It’s also frustrating knowing that yall will miscalculate, go forward with that mindset, lose the election & then stand around bitterly after we lose as a result, give a million excuses, not learn a thing & go into the next election with the same strategy.

It isn’t the fighting back that’s a problem. I agree that’s an amazing thing that needs to remain. Arguing for our ideals is essential. It’s half of what is needed. The other half of what gets a candidate elected is how the arguments are made, how the candidate interacts & whether they are successful at messaging. Everybody forgets that half of getting elected is a popularity contest. It shouldn’t be as important a factor as it is, but it’s always been a reality. If you want to win an election, not see your freedoms disappear & not have our country taken over by commie bastards- then we have to recognize & master that element just as much as arguing for our ideals.

We also have to remember that conservative are, by nature, classier, more stable & more civil people than leftists. Once the arguer or the argument start resembling the trash on an episode of Jerry Springer, our side won’t vote for it 🫣🤭😱
