I had asthma as a child and a young man. Didn’t stop me from enlisting, Didn’t stop me from becoming a Ranger..... In fact, being a Ranger kind of cured it. One day on a 25 mile fast road march, carrying a 125 pound pack and about to drop, it was like I ‘broke through a wall’... and it never bothered me again.
