So far, people seem to be brushing off the “convicted felon” thing... but how will they react if Trump is literally sitting in a jail cell? Does Trump win the election from a jail cell? He would need some pretty strong surrogates who could campaign in his name.

IMHO, President Trump won’t see the inside of a jail cell. Well, maybe a day or three (which will boost his swing state poll numbers another three percent and his campaign coffers another $200 million). The ruling regime jailing the putative Presidential candidate of the opposition party after a kangaroo-court show trial is SOOO banana republic that the USSC has no choice but to accept his counsel’s emergency writ, stay the sentence, and hear the matter.
And once real Justices hear the matter on its merits, the Bragg/Colangelo/Garland/Biden/WetbackCur case collapses like the house of cards that it is.
My 2c, anyhow. As President Trump so often says: “We’ll see what happens.” I don’t perceive any anxiety weighing down our (real) President.
