The true and short reason for the “pause”? It’s an entirely Dim proposal and it will hurt many Dims in NYC and there is an election in November. Come January 2025 the “pause” will be over. Typical of the hypocritical Dims, playing politics with their own policy.
I could easily see a trucker strike over this.
Or, just flat out refusing to deliver to NYC.
Either way, it will make everything in NYC even more expensive.
