There was a movie called Testament—also one of those early 80s things. Took place is a town like Mill Valley above San Francisco. Her husband worked in the city and did not come home, her children died one by one from radiation sickness (as with rest of the town) rather depressing.

There was no bomb blast or destruction in this suburban town, only the residual effects of the blast far away which was to illustrate that even at distance, death lurked around the corner.

I also finished this Spring, Nuclear War: A scenario. the Audio book version.

While rather cold and statistical, its that very dryness that is horrendous. We will not survive as a nation, nor any other nation for that matter...it will be more of a On the Beach situation.

I don’t know what the idiots are doing—but the path they are going down will lead as all into perdition.
