I worked the Southern Cal coast as a plumbing contractor and the big houses have commercial size electricity demands, bakery size gas meters, and commercial sized water meters.

Elevators, car elevators, showers with 6 and 8 shower heads and as large as a small bedroom with bathrooms the size of apartments.

I frequently mention installing a $4000.00 rainfall shower head, the real expense was that I had to replace the water pipes with extra large water pipes to feed it.

That replacing of normal pipe with larger water pipes was something that comes up in those homes, and of course the several water heaters scattered in the home and commercial boilers required.

If you are curious, after doing that $4000.00 shower head I did what I always did with those people, feel him out on his liberalism and sure enough he was very concerned about environmental issues.

LOL except we’ve had entire movies based on the PREMISE of global warming and climate change.

As usual, the problem for leftists is ‘messaging’. People don’t buy what they’re selling, not because it’s BS, but because of ‘messaging’ needing improvement.

When people still don’t listen, they should be FORCED to - is the next step. Because the end justifies the means, by any means necessary. You’re just beneath them, they’re too smart for you to understand. But it could never be their arrogance or ignorance...

Saving Private Ryan II

“Doc” Wade survives his initial wound only to be killed in a flood caused by global warming.

Private Mellish overpowered the German soldier but died from lethal sunburn days later.

Interesting.

Heretofore, the main knowledge I had on fire hydrants was the one, in our neighborhood, that my high school daughter sideswiped while driving her boyfriend’s Blazer...on her learners permit. The hydrant survived, although slightly canted to one side. The neighbor’s tree (where she came to a stop) was skinned up. The boyfriend’s truck was totaled. I split the cost of a replacement truck with her. Took her a lot of babysitting to cover her half. LOL

That’s out of touch with a moviegoing public that wants “to see their reality reflected on screen,” said Colby College English professor Matthew Schneider-Mayerson, lead researcher on the study.

On the contrary, it's academic researchers who are out of touch with what the public wants. And it shows up in the box office. How often have we heard the idiotic "It's old content reimagined for Today's Audience" by someone whose latest flick is about to bomb? It isn't reimagined for anyone but their own narcissistic selves.

My fire hydrant story is me having problems with a guy that I red necked to shut him up in a 7/11 parking lot when I was trying to pick up a couple of girls and who was doing the passive aggressive response of following my friend and I to annoy me.

When we turned a corner I rolled out of the car and put a concrete block through his window as he passed, he lost control of his truck and ran over a fire hydrant, they look great when they are shooting water to the sky, the cops got him pretty good and there may even have been a DUI involved.

Waterworld, the Postman, Battlefield Earth, all of them are somewhat fun.

Slightly hypocritical out of touch, you don’t say!

How about an animated movie about a family of eagles. They fly and play. The audience falls in love with them. Then suddenly, they get wacked by a giant windmill. Eagle family is now broken.

Does that show enough climate change reality?
