I am sure you are well meaning, but you were being duped. MGT allows the Republicans and the Democrats to go back to their side and say,”look we did something,” even though it’s complete lie. Fauci gets the parade around like he actually fought back against something, even though he was under no threat and suffers no repercussions for anything he’s done. This was full of sound and fury. Signifying nothing. Not even an inch of progress was made. Democrats and Fauci aren’t scared, and Republicans get their message that they don’t actually have to do anything. Republicans know as long as they pretend to do something and put on a good show then the money will roll in and they won’t lose their support.
