Technically, the judge said he could be called but all he'd allow him to say was that he worked at the FEC and what the FEC did.

Pretty much useless to Trump.

The judge admitted in court during motions for the jury instructions that he was going to be the only voice on what the law was. Apparently, that meant any law of any kind from any jurisdiction anywhere.

This "acting" judge who is an expert on all law is serving on a county court bench and doesn't need any expert witnesses other than himself?

pretty sure the judge did not block this witness, he just severely limited what he could testify to so the defense opted not to call him
