Orban gets very cheap natural gas from Russia and Putin is squeezing Orban’s balls. (if he has any) Hungary and the Russian Federation
As of 2024, Russia provided 75% of Hungary’s natural gas, between 60 and 80% of its oil and 100% of its nuclear fuel. Following the Russian military intervention in Ukraine in 2014, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán rejected the Russian sanctions despite European Union pressure.
At least Putin isn’t demanding Hungary taking in millions of Muslims, who will destroy Hungary in the long run.
Orban is one of the most courageous leaders in Europe. He bravely endures the persecution by the totalitarian EU. He has also come out in support of President Trump.

Orban has also adopted the victim mentality of Critical Race Theory and that is why he joins forces with whiner countries like Russia and China.
Hungarians have always been prone to extremes and sadly this time they have chosen the extreme of whining about the world.
A great book by Hungarian writer Tibor Fischer titled “Under the Frog” explains this duality of extreme optimism or pessimism, but nothing in between.
