It’s a lovely morning here on back deck. Cool and the sounds are beautiful. Many bird sounds and several roosters at various nearby residences. One starts and the others - further away- follow suite.
In PM it’s always warmer and the bird and rooster sounds continue but added are frogs/toads; owls and insects
I know many find it annoying but I look forward to the cicada chorus this summer.
Luvie spent second night in row on back deck. I bring her in and then when I go out for one thing or another she darts out when I open door. I have dry food and a mixture of dry and wet food out for her and a Terry cloth robe of mine on lawn chair and that’s where she sleeps at night n now and then during day.
After she ate she jumped off deck to go to woods. Same time dogs released and the barking gang chased Luvie. She ran out from woods with them behind her. One leap n she was on.
It’s a sloping lot. Front deck is ground level and back about 6 feet. Jeff has the top of stairs blocked as the dogs would regularly get up here and take things
Hi Dolly!
I just came in from my deck - beautiful morning here as well. Had a nice cup of coffee. No excitement with animals though...just he dogs out running with their noses to the ground in search of squirrels.
Back inside now, and can hardly keep my eyes open. Heading back to bed. Kids are finished up school this week, so that will be exciting! Hay has to be cut again next week, and Matt is still in the fields doing the cultivating to get the crops planted. Lots of big tractors down the road this morning....and big farm equipment. Noisy, but I love it. It feels productive, and I don’t have to do any of it lol.
