12 and 9, very entertaining, argumentative at times. The 9 year old pretends to be an airline stewardess, going through the whole routine, even to the kicking off parents of the disruptive kids on the plane.

nice ages! You still want to hang out with special adults like grandparents, and it’s great you’re cementing that relationship now so it will continue on.

I wish my granddaughter was closer. But we had the opportunity to leave California and had to take it. I actually thought they might follow us, since the cost of living was so much cheaper here.

Norsky do your grandkids live with you or are they just close enough that you get to be with them often?

It’s really nice that you spend time with them and they still wanna spend time with you

I can remember at that age 9 and 12 I would much rather have been with my friends then with my grandparents

but of course I think modern day grandparents are more with it. mine were old fashion Slovak grandmas which I loved but there was no discussion possible with them other than housekeeping stuff
