That is certainly a gentle setting. Without any mosquitoes or annoying bugs I would be able to spend hours of reading a book just dangling my feet in the water and taking in the sights and sounds
I’d love to see more of the settings near your home maybe the little community stores the country the rolling Hills the rock intrusions anything like that cotton and I have a very similar topography

It was supposed to be a clear day all day.
I got up at seven cut dressed got everything on my tray to take out on the back deck so I wouldn’t have to go in and out and bother my son.
. My plan was to work for 3 to 4 hours finishing up then second phase of the mulch project
there are several phases in the mulch project. Sounds very sophisticated but it’s not.
But lo and behold the clear day has turned out to be drizzling all morning
really I could be out working in it because it isn’t a huge rain it’s just a on misty drizzle. But I have my hearing aids on and I really am aware of the fact e

I could go in and take them off but I awake my first born who will raise up a little bit of you know what for waking him up.

Yesterday I got all my garlic planted re seeded the beets - which seems to have disappeared. Maybe birds got them although with all the dogs running around barking and a cat on the deck, smart birds wouldn’t do that

Thank heavens a lady came around and beat the thing apart.
It would have torn my arm off, I think.
I was left with a somewhat mangled left hand. Fingers curled, plenty of scar tissue.
No doctor wanted to touch it.
Finally in the mid 2000’s I Had an ortho surgeon who fixed most of it.
I can straighten 3 of my my fingers now (I can finally wear a wedding band on my left hand - woo-hoo!)

I did the same thing at 4, I have a scar in the middle the palm of my right hand, kinda looks like a star. Slightly limits range and motion. I was copying my older sisters who were sticking their fingers in the ringer and pulling it out while it was running.
I did that as a kid as well, stylin. Thankfully, I knew that the bar that runs across over the top is what you slam upwards to make the rollers pop open. I did that very quickly. A very sore hand, but no damage done, and a lesson on trying to feel the rollers as they were turning was well learned.
