It was before my time, but, I remember my mom, and, even school teachers talking about the evil she foisted upon our public school system, and, NATION!
Glad her son came to find the Lord.

I remember saying the Pledge of Allegiance followed by singing, America (My Country Tis of Thee), daily, in elementary school. My kids did say the Pledge, but, did NOT sing America. This was several moons ago :-)
Oh my goodness Jane. We would NOT have started the day in elementary school with out both saying the Pledge and SINGING “ My country tis of thee”....ever!! Of course I started school in 1944! LOL....
