I hope this decision by the DOJ drives Johnson to take action on the contempt of Congress charges by an unlawful Unselect Committee against Navarro and Bannon.
They should rescind these charges.
I don’t see how Sneaker Johnson CANNOT rescind these charges, in light of what just went down, with Garland.
Where are the R Reps demanding this??
BREAKING- YOUR REACTION: Speaker Johnson plans to force a subpoena against Attorney General Garland in federal court after the DOJ declined to act on the House’s contempt referral. Johnson criticized the DOJ’s decision as an example of a “two-tiered system of justice” under the Biden Administration. He said he will certify the contempt reports to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and seek to enforce the subpoena in federal court.
