“I'm going to predict that the first thing Trump does is fire his lawyers, which he should have done before the trial rather than after the trial," Dershowitz said on "The Record With Greta Van Susteren."
His lawyers did not do a good job. And what worries me, as an appellate lawyer, is that they didn't do a good job preserving the record for appeal. They focused exclusively on the trial, which is what many trial lawyers erroneously do," Dershowitz said. "But you can't win an appeal if the lawyers below didn't create a record for appeal. And they didn't do that here, particularly the missing witness, the issue of, the failure to allow the expert witness to testify."

I do not understand why this dude joesbucks is not zotted. Does he donate enough to FR to protect his BS? If so need a warning label on these anti American trolls.
42nd Street? Oh wait. That was cleaned up.
Trump has a long record of poor choices when it comes to people. Given that, it may be that Trump himself is the issue.
There are also reports that Trump was directing his lawyers so, if true, can one place the blame on the lawyers if they were doing what they were ordered to do?
“Yea, if you’re Trump’s lawyer they’ll kill your mother and your dogs. Shocking that people aren’t lining up”
Trump only hires the best lawyers. Cohen is proof of that
He’s got very good lawyers despite what took place. It wasn’t due to them. It was due to a corrupt system. He will have the best appealete lawyers I am sure, providing advice and taking a look at these various possibilites. And they also have to take something into consideration which is - what is politically prospicient. Because after all at the end of the day the goal is to win the presidencey.

Most likely. By their nature, trial lawyers respect the trial process and hope to win before a jury. Trump’s lawyers ought to have been more aggressive in junking up the record by challenging the judge and his rulings and conduct, even to the point of risking contempt. Their aim should also have been in no small part to destroy the reputation and career of the trial judge through repeated motions for disqualification.
Thanks for this Levin update! :)
Another NeverTrumping POS, eh?
That signals to me that you're most likely a NeverTrump retread who got booted in the FR primary wars of 2016 purge.
I'll have to investigate your FR birth month(s) posts to see. :)
What an idiot
Thank u
And now the same judge Mercon will be the judge presiding over the Steve Bannon’s case. The fix is in
That is what I thought also.
Honestly 97-99ers are not all that sad to say
They hated Clinton is their claim to fame
They often see themselves often as pure national review types who fought the Goldberg thingie here
“Stefanik’s complaint pertains to Merchan’s assignment to three separate criminal cases related to Trump, including his ongoing criminal trial, the previous trial against the Trump Organization, and the upcoming trial against Trump ally Steve Bannon. The New York State Unified Court System’s rules state that criminal cases are assigned to judges randomly, but Stefanik doubts this rule was followed in Democrats’ lawfare crusade, which has proved to be their top 2024 campaign strategy.”
Alina Habba? She looks fairly young.

What they didn’t realize is that the Bushes were just the other side of the same coin.
And speaking of Dumbya, I noticed he’s gone mute again, just like he did during Obama’s tenure.
This means nothing. It’s ALL HANDS ON DECK to get Trump back in power, and then unleash hell on the lawfare traitors, among so many others.
GOPe fairly silent
