My error. I thought you could only use the ‘Doctor” title if you had a PhD.
The title is used by physicians and those with a Ph.D. The term doctor is from the Latin doctore, It is a word that means to teach. Blood letters and healers in the 19th century decided to call themselves doctor because it sounded more prestigious.
