But, the biggest and most greedy organization on the planet is the US federal government. There is no competition and thus there are no checks on its growth. Ok, Jill...

Tell Joe to tell the car companies to lower prices at least 20% (which is about the inflation rate since Joe took office), and then I'll go out and find me a car. Heck, drop the prices of EVs by at least 40%, and I must just go out and buy a government sponsored vehicle.

If Joe can lower the prices of groceries and restaurant food, he could easily lower the prices of vehicles too. And, please tell Joe that I'm looking to move from my house, and that I need the prices of homes to be lowered by some 35-50%, which is the percentage that homes have gone up since Joe took office.

If Joe can do that, I'll give him credit for the lower prices at grocery stores and restaurants. Awaiting your hubby's actions.

The only place where prices are falling are most stocks in general...the prices are collapsing because investors know the whole thing is about to fall apart.

I’ve always known these people are idiots. But this just takes it to a new level. As an example, fuel prices have lowered and sort of stabilized after “Putin’s price hike” so companies probably feel more comfortable that this is the range they will be in for a while and are able to adjust some prices to compensate. Of course, that’s just one factor, but Joe and Jill are stupid enough to think that asking the CEOs to lower prices is the only reason they were lowered.

Correction! As of May 27th, a bag of ice at Kroger is now #7 pound bag. The seven pound bag costs the same as a #20 pound bag in 2021.

I never understood buying ice? My freezer can make twenty pounds in 24 hours. Just bag it yourself.

i buy ice because, even though i have an RO system that feeds purified water to the ice maker, the produced ice is still milky colored because it’s full of gazillions of microscopic bubbles ...

i like my iced drinks to have clear ice, so i buy ice ...
