Give the instructions again? What sort of state is New York? In Virginia, the judge reads the instructions to the jury and then when the jury goes to the jury room to deliberate all of the evidence and the jury instructions come into the jury room with the jury. Why wouldn’t New York do something as sensible as that.
Exactly. I do know a couple lawyers and in casual conversation with them, not even about this case any trial they were on the jury got a copy of the jury instructions to reference and read for themselves.
Apparently in New York, the defense is the first to present summations, then the prosecution. During this trial, the prosecution brought up a lot of 'potential' laws that Trump could have violated that were never mentioned in court or in the charging documents, with no way for defense to rebut.
Apparently New York likes to stack the deck in their favor...
