Slow Joe has the Midas touch in reverse; everything he touches turns to chit.
We built a pier in the Mediterranean which cannot withstand 4 foot waves or 15mph wind. Surprising it lasted as long as it did. Wouldn't want to be a truck driver on it when it reopens.
It says everything about the Pentagon and State Dept. Brass. All optics no 10 ring.
$320 million for that little thing ?
I think that’s a pix of one of the little service boats, not the main pier.
Sounds less efficient than the Mulberry Harbors 80 years ago at Normandy.
Post-war (particularly American) historians say that although it was a success, the vast resources used on the Mulberry may have been wasted, as the American forces were supplied mostly over the beaches without the use of a Mulberry right through to September 1944

That why God sent a storm/message to Obama that he’s not bringing his kindred chit here!!!

I am trying to remember the last time I saw sheet metal float.
Looks like the quality of planning and execution we saw in the mighty Afghanistan withdrawal.
before D-Day, the Allies had frogmen (secretly of course) taking samples of sand and soil all along the Normandy coast, which were then analyzed and compared to known records to be sure that the beaches could support the weight of cement caisons for the Mulberry Harbors, and other heavy armor being off-loaded, like tanks and half-tracks.
Even in spite of this work one Mulberry Harbor was destroyed by a storm in the English Channel, 3 days after D-Day.
Nonetheless over 2 million men, their equipment and 5000 vehicles were successfully unloaded over these temporary floating piers
Of course, that was when the US Federal Government wasn’t a woke and corrupt enterprise.
Except for his ten percent...
Biden brought back Build Back Better to Gaza I see.
What this really shows is how far down the Army Corps of Engineers have fallen in basic competency. This is full blown DEI in action.
The contractors that snared this pitiful gig are a gaggle of retired military offices and some other agency strap hangers. Follow the money.
That’s one of the supporting boats and a part of the pier that blew away.
