This whole trial has been a sham from the beginning and most intelligent people can see it. If a guilty verdict happens, I’m sure he’ll immediately appeal. Whether that keeps him out of prison is another matter, but his lawyers have enough evidence against the judge himself to get an acquittal.
The whole point is that the appeal happens after the election. This case will be successfully appealed in my opinion, but not in time for it to matter.
