SOOOOOOOOOOOOOo—IF we herd LIZZO up & down the prairie, we will trap more carbon???
All I know is that there are more weeds in the garden now than when I was a kid, —and believe me, my dad made sure I knew if there were any I missed!
The farm a few hills over used to graze Buffalo. I really miss sitting on my front porch and watching them graze. We drove over there a few times and those males are the size of a tank! Yikes!
It takes 5 YEARS to raise a Buffalo to maturity. That is a LOT of water and grass and grain. But they are tough mothers! Outside all winter, no protection from the weather, etc.
Not sure why he sold them all and stopped raising them. We think he just got too old for it. Raising Buffalo is a young man’s game I guess. ;)
