Am I missing something here? It's a tragedy for anyone to die of brain cancer, regardless of the cause. I have compassion for that, despite my distaste for the elder Biden's and pretty much everything else about him.

But dying of cancer 6 years after a limited tour in a combat zone IS NOT "KILLED IN ACTION."

Beau Biden was 47 and a civilian who died of brain cancer. The average soldier in VN was aged 19 and the average life of the VN soldiers and those in the Mideast who were lost was probably not over 20. A bit of difference here on Memorial Day, wouldn’t you say, Mr. Biden??
