Check your state laws. Unlike schools, most businesses can only ask you to leave if they spot your CCW. If you refuse they can charge you with trespassing. I would take the option of leaving if asked rather than being a sitting disarmed duck. I do avoid gun ban businesses, but I have found that I carried and did not even know their policy until I read about it later.
All I know is that our local AMC has the handgun-with-a-slash-thru-it sticker in the window. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been in one.
