For about 15 years I wore the DoD Contract Administrator hat for two different private sector companies. So I can speak with some authority, while you're just blowing smoke. Seemingly high prices for things like 155 shells are partly the engineering difficulties in making them, and partly the volumes of rules and regulations both the DoD and the vendor have to put up with, and partly constant meddling by Congress. (In the '70s Grumman had a staff of eight people who did nothing but handle demands from Congressmonkeys and Senators.) Bottom line on that last is that the Federal Acquisition Regulations generally let us fend off the politicians, despite what you're thinking. That's the short, short, short answer. That sentence didn’t make sense, is a private company charging it, is the American military charging it to pay for more modern versions that we want for replacements of the old stuff, is it the Jews charging it like ‘I got the rope’ says, and what is the difference between the $200K missile we supply and the $20K missile you say Ukraine uses in place of it?
