The reason drugs are so expensive is because they are illegal and therefore incur big risk.

Take the money out of drugs and you will have less drugs.

Less drugs means less drug deaths.

I’m for legalizing ALL drugs. Drug cartels will disappear. People willing to take drugs will kill themselves off. It’s a self-correcting problem.

Sorry to hear about your family member, but the above facts are still true.

The American Conservative: "Donald Trump: The Most Libertarian President Since Silent Cal" (Calvin Coolidge)

The Libertarian Party generally polls higher than it actually performs in elections.

Most/many libertarians (small "L") either don't throw their votes away, or don't vote at all.

This is how it is supposed to work. Trump went to voters, told them exactly what he would do and why he’s doing it. Republicans complain every 4 years that Liberatarians are “throwing their vote away” and that they all should be votijg Republican but no one has bothered to say that directly to them before the election...Until Trump. This is the equivalent of Trump going to North Korea. He’s fighting for every vote. This makes his decision to jump at debates anytime, anyplace, anywhere any moderator make s little bit more sense to me. He won’t let the media spin this because when you go directly to the voters it won’t matter much. I’ll give you a seat at the table will be compelling to some...no doubt. Trump isn’t playing for 270, he’s playing for 300 million and now that’s crystal clear.

Not sure that is true. Government will just come in and “regulate” and tax drugs. In California, pot actually increased in price after legalization.

So the government is taking the profits drug cartels used to get. No wonder there is increasing move to legalize it.

But it’s legal, so they don’t have to kill people to distribute it.

After last night’s display with that STUPID CHICKEN, I AM SHOCKED.

I always thought of the Libertarian Party as being even more pro-freedon...but after last night’s display of the CHICKEN THAT RFK ENCOURAGED, THEY LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THEM.

I honestly DON’T KNOW WHAT THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY STANDS FOR.

BUT WHATEVER IT IS...IT IS ...RUDE.

I no longer think of them as erious, or bright, or polite, so I am not impressed with the notorious LIBERTARIANS.

I used to think they were thoughtful and they certainly are NOT. They are a group of Hoodlums. IMHO.

I hope Trump doesn’t follow through on the foolish idea of commuting the sentence of a vicious, manipulative criminal who is responsible for the deaths of countless persons.

I'm in favor of closing the border with Mexico entirely until Mexico stops facilitating the drug smuggling into this country.

I am in favor of building drug rehab facilities in Mexico, near Mexico City or farther south. Then each time a drug user is convicted of possession or small time dealing, have the US military transport that person to the new rehab centers and revoke that person's passport so they can't come in. If Mexico wants to keep the supply of illegal drugs coming into this country, then we should move the illegal drug market to Mexico, so they don't have to move the drugs into the US.

I am in favor of prosecuting all drug dealers for income tax evasion, and non-payment into Social Security and Medicare tax pools from the self-employment profits from drug dealing. That includes all Mexican residents involved in the drug smuggling into this country..

That’s probably BS spin. You can’t get 2 life sentences plus 40 years for raping children at the border. There is obviously something behind this that moreso makes the government look bad. Some lady just got 2 years for a peaceful protest of an abortion clinic. Trump is looking at 100 years for some bogus BS in NY. They are trying to take away MAL and all his properties because he overvalued them. Things aren’t always as the government says. January 6 prisoners is another example. Vivek pointed this guy out the day before Trump announced this. I trust Trump, he is for law and order but also realizes that the government more than we’d all like to believe abuses it’s power.

*The LP will not crack anywhere near 3% this time I can assure you many more will vote for him*

The way to go about it is to name Rand as his VP.

He was firm when he said you can stay with your 3%. Rand is one of them.
As for the pardon nobody knows who this guy is.

This stunned me so I researched it, was shocked Trump said this.

He facilitated drug dealing by setting up the dark web.
He never committed murder, even though they say he hired for murder. He never actually had a trial for said “attempting to hire for murder”
He was denied due process, in my opinion, because they had no cause to investigate him. His sentence looks extreme.

After researching it, Trump is probably correct.

That was another Libertarian embarrassment. No serious candidate should attend that again.

So better to alienate many votes by not acknowledging them? Politics is the art of the possible. Trump mastering the art of the deal is a natural. He did well here with people some don’t agree with around here 100% of the time.

I have no heartburn with this.

acknowledge who exactly? Men wearing dresses and waving rubber chickens given to them by RFK Jr? Trump would be better off returning to the South Bronx.

J6 ers and Derik Chauvin did not receive fair trials or due process, in my opinion. I think they need new trials, a change of venue, and impartial judges.
