Missionary adventure tourism is dangerous. It’s not as fun in southwest Missouri, but there are ministries aching for help within 20 minutes of their house. Don’t waste your precious life casting pearls before the swine.
Sadly I have to agree with you.
A friend of mine’s daughter has become involved in trying to rescue Haiti. She is not there now and has had to be evacuated twice when things turned dicier than normal. She still thinks that she can actually affect a change. For some reason, Haiti has a draw on some people.
