The biggest part of petroleum product pricing is abusive government policies and regulations. Excessive taxes which then do not actually go to roads. Unjustified mandates like ethanol from the EPA actually hurt the environment and consumers. Global warming nonsense making refiners purchase fictious carbon credits. The list of abusive unjustified government policies seems to have no end.
Yep. Cut taxes, get out of the way, and let the oil companies get busy producing. Bet the price of all oil products would come way down, not just gasoline.
