In my day, we ate breakfast around the kitchen table before school and listened to the am radio that intertwined music and news - these songs were on that soundtrack for sure.
I enjoy now listening to the late 60s soundchecks, I’ve gained a much greater appreciation for the Top 40 music of that era.
