Let’s be honest for a moment. If we were to generalize, women seeking abortions are typically not the most financially well off. They are usually near financial desperation.
If California wants abortion tourism, there will be a financial cost to California hospitals and health clinics.
California already has a huge budget deficit problem. Many, many publicly funded and religious organization funded hospitals are in poor financial health. This will further harm health care in California.

This is what I find interesting about the abortion issue. No one cared about it once Roe v Wade was established as settled law. However, every election, the Democrats would trot this out so that they could hold on to the women’s vote. Like all unintended consequences, their constant wokeness created the scenario where Roe v Wade was overturned.
They are now doing the same thing with climate change, LGBANCD+ and other issues no one cared about previously but do now.
