I don't buy it. Almost everyone remembers how much better things were when Trump was president. Inflation is the most regressive form of taxation, and it impacts working class people the hardest. As even Marx could see, a worker in France has more in common with a worker in England than he does with a factory owner in France. Most black men have jobs, buy gas, pay for groceries, and stay out of trouble. They don't want to be crowded out by free-loading newcomers, and made to pay for the privilege.
Democrats have been taking black votes for granted all my life. The incumbent even said, "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black." Utterly condescending and presumptuous.
