Bullsh*t. It's part of Ohio's law, and has nothing to do with the current makeup of Ohio's representation in their government.

The culprit here is the DNC. Alabama decided to allow Biden to be on the ballot even though he had the same issue there as in Ohio.

On the flip side, what if they put Biden on the ballot, but then the dems swap Biden for someone else during the August convention?

Since you are really voting for a slate of electors, anyway, perhaps we can come up with the Washington Redskins solution. When they decided not to be the Redskins, they just called themselves the "Washington Football Team" for a while.

Maybe the Dem party could have its line read "Democrat Electors".

Yes. And even Alabama

[Alabama has a Republican trifecta and a Republican triplex. The Republican Party controls the offices of governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and both chambers of the state legislature.]

changed their law. Yet you think it wrong for the Governor of Ohio to bring the legislature back in session for the same purpose???
