No. Overeating and under exercising makes one fat and diabetic.
Wheat has been around forever and the healthiest societies in the world are grain (and bean) based in their diets.
Americans don't seem to do much cooking or exercising anymore. Screens render them immobile and fast food and Door Dash render them obese.
And yes, I'm saying in general. Obviously, gluten intolerant people should forego the wheat with buckwheat, oats, barley, etc.
