The Germans need to make up for the evil Germany unleashed on the world with its two world wars, its cold blooded warlike behavior and its innate evil. This “following the law” trope won’t serve Germany any better than the Nazi’s “just following orders” trope did. What Germany needs to figure out is the difference between good and evil and start applying it.
