The soda/pop that would be "extra" is 98% city-water with CO2 and syrup. They expect you will add the drink.

I know they expect you to buy the drink, but are under no obligation to and rarely will I.

Don’t eat mcd’s often at all, but when I do I grab the $3 meal deal through drive through…. Because if I’m eating at mcd’s it’s because I am forced to grab something quick on my way to somewhere..I always have a drink with me in my car or some sort so I rarely buy a soda.

The drinks have never been worth it. When we would go to Micky D’s, we bought water elsewhere. We paid only for the food.
