The United States began as, and was grown by just plain folks that wanted a REAL better life and were willing to work hard for it.

But they were too lazy to pick their own cotton, and we've been paying for it ever since.

Right or wrong . . . . They weren't lazy.

They DID have massive land tracts called plantations that had to be worked and, AT THE TIME, relatively easy to get labor was the slave market.

Did YOU make enough children to farm hundreds of acres ?


Smaller possessions were operated by the family and girls did almost as much farm work as the boys because they had to.
