Fani Willis on Tuesday won the Democratic primary in Georgia for her Fulton County District Attorney seat, which she has held since 2020.
Willis won with 89 percent of the vote at the time the Associated Press called the race. Polls closed at 7 p.m. ET and the AP called the race shortly before 7:40 p.m. The result came as Willis seeks to continue her election interference case against former President Donald Trump.
Willis indicted Trump and several other co-defendants for charges relating to the 2020 presidential election results in the state and violations of the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

What’s wrong with them is that they’re Democrats. I’m convinced that the vast majority of Democrat voters have no intelligence, no desire to think, and no moral compass, but they do have a bone deep sense of entitlement and are charter members of the Dunning Kruger club. It isn’t that being a Democrat causes these characteristics, but rather people with these characteristics naturally become Democrats.
This vote should disabuse any of the people who think the monolithic black vote is going to move towards Trump in November to take some pause.
This demographic will mostly vote Democrat like they always do.
The “water buffaloes” vote for themselves. So when they make up much of the population....in this case, the largest single block with 42% of the population.
If they vote 95% for each other, and other demographics vote without regard to race, what happens?
