Also, I’m tired of lib crocodile tears the few times ever that someone hangs it upside down. That is merely a sign of distress, not a disrespect of the flag, per se.

This from the jackasses who stomp on the ground a flag, and burn it, and demand they have every right to.

It is an improper display of the flag, and thus disrespectful of it, to fly it upside down for any reason other than to request assistance with immediate physical danger. That means actual danger, not political disgruntlement or other forms of personal butthurt.

A lot of people, including quite a few on FR, seem to think that it’s OK to disrespect the flag as long as it’s done out of self-perceived patriotic motives. Strange logic.

Funny how the left talk about admiring "strong, independent women"... but here, they're arguing that Justice Alito could simply dictate to his wife on whether that upside down flag went out or not.
