True, but that’s a lot of time for a non-sequestered jury to absorb the avalanche of negative reviews in the news (now nearly universal) of the prosecution’s performance.
Hung jury is now a near certainty.
That could impact book sales in a negative fashion...
The jurors get a week off. The next big thing will be the closing arguments by the prosecution and defense. I expect the judge to halt major portions of the defense’s final speech to the jurors.
It may be the reason the betting markets have swung decisively in Trump’s favor.
For sure! Even before Cohen’s trial debacle, his pitch for a “Mr. Fix-it” reality show weren’t getting any takers lol
I thought the judge was going to rule on the defense motion to dismiss. Seems like he will not do that if he is in the process of determining jury instructions.

Oops, when I mentioned betting markets, I meant 2024 election outcome: Trump is the odds on favorite now. I’m speculating that the recent swing in the the market pendulum against Biden may be a proxy bet for a hung jury.

The betting markets take everything into consideration, including so many Blacks, Hispanics and Dems leaving the plantation. They understand that people are fed up.
