With respect to the pathologically lying Fauci, most of the vilification has been of scientists like Scott Atlas who dissented from the lies about Coronavirus coming from bats, masks work, wild exaggerations about the lethality of Coronavirus, vaccines will stop COVID from spreading etc. Fauci was right at the center of all those lies, and agreed with vilification of those scientists. Fauci has no problem with vilification of scientists.
The scientists who promoted those lies fully deserved to be vilified. As for Fauci himself, he's not even a scientist.
