Yeah, that is a poser. And he made some terrible appointments, as well. Scaramucci and Christopher Wray come to mind.
One may make excuses for the Wray appointment by saying the recommendation came from Gov. Christie. But, the Mooch appointment (and the Omarosa one) are all on Trump.
I'm voting for him, but I wonder how much he'll be able to achieve in 4 years if he doesn't step up the quality of his appointments.
Oh, and not being a politician Trump should be able to appoint only all perfect staff.

Trump had no awareness that the Democratic Party was working 24-7 to destroy him, and no awareness that the Democratic Party never makes a mistake with its own appointments.
And don’t forget Nikki Haley and Mike Pense.
