Haven’t been watching—why does Turley think Costello is the kill shot and for whom? The prosecution or the defense. Thanks.
I’m not sure what Turley’s reasoning is, but IMO, Costello would be a kill shot for the defense because his testimony would provide the jury with an explanation for why Cohen has lied. It would explain why Cohen paid Daniel’s on his own without Trump’s knowledge (i.e. to impress Trump) and why he’s lied since then (i.e. to stay out of jail and for revenge against Trump because he blames Trump for his legal troubles and resents the fact that he was bypassed for a slot in Trump’s administration.) It would complete the picture for the jury.
Turley thinks the kill shot is against the prosecutor and
good for DJT. Costello is an excellent witness and clearly says Cohen is a liar
