The same reason Subway abandoned their “$5 Footlong” deal?

Yet, Subway has had their $5 foot-long deal for many years too, and they didn't go out of business years ago. It's only recently, like in the Biden years, when Subway has started to feel the inflation pinch. Inflation was not a problem for any businesses before Biden.

While the rest of the country enjoyed $5 footlongs they weren’t offered in California. The cost of operations within the state was prohibitive.
