Illegal immigration and control over the nation's borders will be one of the major issues in this fall's elections, and a key aspect of that issue is the number of people who are present in the country today - and what should be done about them. Should he win reelection, former President Donald Trump is reportedly being advised to deport almost 20 million illegal aliens, in a project similar to the United Kingdom's Rwanda policy:

If a Trump victory is assured, expect Congress to legalize the illegals before Trump takes office.
And revoke the not-for-profit tax status of the charities that are assisting the illegals to circumvent our laws.
First step should be deporting any illegal who has committed any crime while in the US. If caught returning, mandatory 5 year prison sentence. Any illegal who has interaction with any law enforcement agency and for whom no record of entry can be found (got always) will be deported immediately. Any municipality declining to cooperate with Federal immigration angencies will lose anll Federal funding and will be disqualified from participating in any Federal surplus equipment programs. Anyone caught using a fraudulent Social Security number or false identity for employment will be immediately deported. Employers who hire undocumented workers must report them and pay a Federal tax, failure to report will result in a punitive fine equal to or greater than five years of the proposed tax amount.
Phase 2 - every illegal alien who has entered the United States within the last four years either self deports within an established timeframe or petition for expedited asylum hearing (hire more immigration judges). Asylum seekers (with certain exceptions) must relocate to Mexico, Canada or another country while awaiting their hearings.
Phase 3 - long term illegals, must establish a bonafide reason for remaining in the United States (e.g. they have properly applied for US citizenship prior to January 20, 2020, they have an legitimate employment record, they have served in the US military, they have children who are US citizens, they own a home in the United States, they have a legal business in the United States). These people may argue with some merit that they have established solid ties in the US and are productive.
And do what?
Never underestimate the power of Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, meaning RINOs are exactly what we think of them, spineless.
The minute Trump directly ignores the order from a Federal Judge, he will get impeached, and enough Republicans will go along with it to make it stick this time.
People would be, in the words of Muhammad Ali, “shocked and amazed” at how great this would be for our economy. Overnight employment would soar, wages would rise, confidence among men and optimism in the future would go off the charts.
I was thinking the same thing.
However, you may run into a bit of a problem from people who don’t like, say, the Hernandez family down the street who are here legally and are proud American citizens, and turn them in just because they don’t like them.
I don’t think we want that.
So, how do we tell America-loving families and citizens apart from the illegal immigrant invaders?
I’d suggest the operation start with the Other Than Mexicans, especially the two PLA divisions worth of Chinese men who’ve entered illegally in just the past year.

Same way it was done when I was growing up in El Paso. The ICE vans would patrol around and pick up anyone without obvious proof of citizenship. I remember people yelling ‘LA Migra’ and running.
Couple that with making e-verify work, and no benefits to illegals, and many will self deport. Without work or money, there’s no incentive to be here.
Trump can do it. He’s proven he can do all the things that naysayers have said is impossible. Energy independence anyone?

Just follow the trail of trash it leads all the way back to deep Mexico.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.
I remember years ago when a Kansas meat packing plant all but shut down because they’re illegal workers left, I can’t remember why. They had to raise wages by a couple of dollars and then they had all sorts of applicants.
ps. Businesses that higher illegals undercut all their competition unfairly, because they avoid paying things like Social Security and workers compensation, in many cases. They also pay lower wages. Ask any business that is trying to do their work legally that deal with construction or lawn care.

That’s fine, then they can figure out how to support them. Cutting off Federal benefits and enforcing e-verifying Nationwide will make it quite an expensive proposition to be a sanctuary state.

Deputize US citizens for 6 months and round them up.

I can’t even imagine how horribly they have trashed the hotels they have been staying at. The Press won’t even ask or look.!
Cut off the welfare - most will leave on their own. Maybe they’ll take some deadbeat democrats with them.
I think it’s easier to allow killing the invaders. You can kill someone who invades your home, so why not your country? Everyone making asylum pleas must go, too.
Watch them self-deport when that law passes.
