Wasn’t the broken glass on the outside? That would indicate someone breaking out, not in. Weren’t they both in their underwear? That implies that at least in the beginning, the guy was welcome.
He had a trial. If that were true, he would have added that to the trial. The jury would have known this.

Completely wrong, that was the fake stuff some sites pushed out at first.
No. DePape was wearing shorts or pants, as a photo showed. I no longer have a link to the photo, but when it appeared I found it shocking, after all the "underwear" "gay tryst" furor. Pelosi had been in bed when DePape broke in, so it was appropriate for him to be wearing underwear.
After the arrest, no evidence appeared confirming that DePape was a male prostitute. With the international publicity this case generated, DePape's alleged work as a prostitute must have been thoroughly, if fruitlessly, investigated. These days the odds look superb that DePape was not a male prostitute and that Paul Pelosi had not been cruising for male prostitutes. Those were just partisan lies, exactly the sort of thing that media leftists do all the time. We're supposed to be better than that.
30 years may be an excessive sentence, but DePape was guilty as charged, and Paul Pelosi deserves some apologies.
Yeh, two guys in their underwear clutching a hammer isn’t suspicious or anything. 😆
