I am not blaming him for any problems. I don’t have any problems. Just following his philosophy has limited any good returns on my cash. So don’t do the “people like you” thing.

There will become at some point a parallel economy. How long they will tolerate that will be interesting. We need to start building banks, etc to handle our stuff.

Quite funny... Just because there are so many emails for travel related stuff, I have a separate email account for it. Anyway, within a few minutes of reading this article about the cancellation in Nashville, I happened to see that the Sonesta regular newsletter showed up. I promptly cancelled it and that prompted this reply....Let’s just say my comment was rather blistering.... I encourage others to do the same.

To some extent, that already exists.... perhaps a better way to word that is that “at some point the parallel economy will become that much more strengthened.”
Case in point, I have a choice in what clients I pick to work with and where they are located.... a little bit of research is all that is required to assist in making that choice.
So, the terrorists have won?
Who is going to make the terrorists follow through with their threats so they can be arrested and tried?
Apparently, Mr. Ramsey would.
If businesses keep backing down to the threats, then the threats become the weapon and there is no need to actually follow through. I don't want to see anyone harmed, but people can't keep giving in to the first signs of resistance, or it will never stop.
