The wicked fear the Word of the Lord.
They KNOW their works are evil and they don't want to hear about it nor do they want anyone to oppose it.
Then they go down to Hell quickly, having fought it and stayed fiercely unrepentant all of their life. Unwilling to repent and listen to the Word of God.
