Cross-examination will be lit!
I believe today s hours in court have been shortened. Hopefully they will find plenty to discuss with Cohen.
Andrew Giuliani:
Trump attorney Todd Blanche asks about someone who had called Cohen in a harassing manner, and Cohen eventually got the number.
Cohen sends a text to the number that has been sent to Mr. Cohen, as they forgot to block it.
Cohen sends something to the effect of the US Secret Service has been notified of your harassing text.
Texter: It wasn’t me, I’m sorry
Cohen: You’re going to have to receive that to the Secret Service. If your a minor or guardian, you should notify your parent
Cohen: Please don’t, I’m 14
Texter: Have your parent contact me
Then 20 mins later Cohen texted Keith Schiller about the 14 year old text back-and-forth with Cohen.
Blanche saying that Cohen testified the other day that that call back and forth with Schiller was about Stormy Daniels, not the 14 year old…(INTERESTING!)
OUCH!! That’s gonna leave a mark. Too bad it’s a rigged jury.
Wow.
Andy Giuliani:
This could be another pivotal moment in the eyes of the jury, Blanche is attempting to show that Cohen testified on Tuesday to a specific recollection on Tuesday about a specific testimony.
Blanche: THAT WAS A LIE, WASN’T IT
Cohen: Part of it was about Stormy Daniels, the other part was about this
Blanche is pointing out that it was a 1 minute and 36 second phone call and that Cohen in that time had the opportunity to both tell Keith about the 14 year old, have the phone handed over to President Trump, and then inform him about Stormy Daniels!
Blanche: THATS NOT WHAT YOU TESTIFIED TO
By my count at least 3 counts of perjury.
COHEN WAS JUST NOW TOTALLY EVISCERATED! Well done by Blanche.
Yup!
I’m now 50-50 conviction vs hung jury.
Like my mom always said. If you are going to be a liar you need a good memory.
Hehehe, sage mom!
Your right. Defense needs to carry this ovet.
Trial on lunch break.
Defense must call Costello. MUST.
Absolutely. His testimony is now a matter of congressional record. No excuses.
I think they’ll try and if this judge turns it down all hell will break loose.
And allowing just a transcript is insufficient, as the jurors need live testimony from the witness to weigh credibility (tone, body language, etc)
Another reversible error for appeal.
Biggest thing is that he has to face both sides' lawyers. Which is why I was surprised that Defense was able to question Cohen about remembering things he had told Costello in the past.
Andy G:
In the elevator, I heard a CNN legal contributor asked, How bad was it?
His answer: “Bad”
I can tell you that this contributor was singing Cohens praises on Monday evening!
